Jehovah’s Witness Condolence
The Jehovah’s Witness funeral is similar to other Christian faith but only lasts between 15 and 30 minutes. The funeral is usually held at a Kingdom Hall, the place of worship for their faith or a funeral home. A Congregation Elder runs the service by which throughout the process cameras or video equipment are not permitted. At the service, men wear a suit and tie, and women are expected to dress modestly, but neither needs a head covering. Flowers and food may be offered to the family before, during or after the service. Following the hall or funeral home services are graveside services. Non-Jehovah’s Witnesses are not permitted to participate at this point.
